Seeing this I thought 300...
300 and fun. Quite frankly, the first impression I had was of 300. It's nice, but it certainly needs some fine tuning. The first aspect I thought was silly was the fact you can jump over people's heads. Assuming they're all burly Spartans, or Greek, or whathaveyou, you are jumping over 6'0" at least. Not even Leonidas pulled that off. Srsly.
Now, as far as the actual combat is concerned, a few combos would be nice. Not too many, overcomplicated impossibly intricate combos would detract from the value of the game, but a few combos here and there might be nice for the overall effect. Again, think 300. The spear chugging was nice, but I would have preffered even more gore. I like the idea of impaling I suppose. Also, the jumping was a little weird. It felt as if he was light, rather than burly and heavy.
Obviously, some upgrades would have been nice -- alright, I'm not saying turn the game into 300, but still, some upgrades would have been nice. A bigger shield for example, a fancy spear, perhaps a supply of spears on your back for when you run on (2 or 3 at the most), some sword upgrades.
In truth, the AI isn't that much of a problem to me, since I can live my life just as well going around slaughtering those poor sods for no good reason without them fighting back. I enjoyed the variety in death poses. And it looked like slaughtering too. Fun!
I suppose a shield bash button would have also been nice. It wouldn't complicate the game system all that much, and you could add it to the combo list. :)
I could go on and on, but there's no real point. What you have here is very nice, but you could definitely improve on it, and turn a future sequel into something spectacular! :)
300 was an influence in this game. Achilles is supposed to be one of the most amazing warriors ever. Even in 300 they say that the spartans were descended from Achilles himself. If he is that amazing its quite feasable that he could jump of people. Besides, its just an action game! Thanks for playing!

It has you hooked alright...
...until you die. I got to stage 4 and the sheer amount of dog like things following me prevented me from doing anything. You should perhaps make it easier at first, to let people get used to the fact you spin rather than move.

Holy mother of...
You know, when I first entered the game I was a bit skeptic about its contents. Lemme tell ya I'm a believer now! The graphics are nicely done, and the variety of items and skills seems just right.
The battles seemed a tad slow in the beginning, but I suppose they get better in time; a little repetitive I suppose, but I'm one of those kinds of guys that loves a grindtastic game every once in a while. The music however was incredibly annoying. Truthfully, you need a separate button for music and sound, because I want to hear the dialogs, just not the music.
The voice acting was very good. It didn't feel amateurish, or out of place, and it added very much to the overall game. I also enjoyed the idea of party members.
I liked it; it's awesome. It'll prolly be awesome 20 years from now as well. :)

What the...
Maybe it's because I understood all of it from the top, or maybe it's because I'm a geek and went through the same thing a zillion times... this just rocks. =)

Hah!
5/5 and 10/10 with flying colors. I loved the original style, and the fact the 2 characters are very silly. There were some misspellings, but it doesn't detract from the value of this movie.
I love it!
And that's something I wasn't aware about! I shall check that. Thank you! :)

Heh.
Yes, heh. The idea isn't BAD, but you need to put some extra effort in animating it, in the dialogues, maybe even give the characters voices... It made very little sense to me. :/
Thanks for the review i would try harder but i have very little to work with really
